Actually nine Canadians have flown to the space until now. There are two females who has trained astronauts and civilian, between them.
The first Canadian woman is Dr. Roberta Bondar. She was born in 1945. She is expert in science and photography. When she studied in school her father prepaid a libratory in their basement for her.

The next Canadian woman is Julie Payette. She was born in in 1963.she studied electrical engineering in 1982. First she worked as an engineer in IBM.
